Workpiece material

The material of the workpiece includes copper, aluminum, steel, iron, aluminum alloy, titanium, graphite ash, etc. When it comes to this material, it is also necessary to understand the hardness of the workpiece. There are three common detection methods for the hardness of the workpiece. HB[N(kgf/mm2)] means (HBS\HBW) (refer to GB/T231-1984), and the Brinell hardness method is commonly used in production to measure annealed, normalized and quenched and tempered steel parts, as well as cast iron, non-ferrous metals, Hardness of blanks or semi-finished products such as low alloy structural steel.

Rockwell hardness can be divided into four types: HRA, HRB, HRC, and HRD, and their measurement ranges and application ranges are also different. HRC is used most in general production. The indentation is small and can measure the hardness of thinner materials and hard materials and finished parts. Vickers hardness is expressed in HV (refer to GB/T4340-1999), and it is used to measure extremely thin samples.

Processing route

Problems to be paid attention to when choosing the processing route

(1) The choice of processing route must first ensure that the accuracy and surface roughness of the workpiece meet the requirements, and the processing efficiency must be high.

(2) The selected processing route should be the shortest. On the one hand, it can reduce the time of empty tooling, and on the other hand, it can also reduce the amount of programming. Choose a reasonable tool entry point and tool withdrawal point, optimize the processing path, and improve processing efficiency.

(3) The process problem should also be taken into consideration when selecting the route. In the process of one tool pass, try to process as many working surfaces as possible, and in one clamping, use one tool to complete the most processed surfaces. In this way, the times of tool changing and clamping can be reduced, and the processing route can be optimized at the same time, and the efficiency can be improved.

(4) Choose a reasonable cutting amount. During rough machining, the cutting amount can be increased appropriately. During semi-finishing and finishing machining, the cutting efficiency should be taken into account under the premise of ensuring the machining accuracy and roughness.

(5) When processing the surface of the workpiece, try to complete it in one pass. If the tool stops suddenly during the cutting process, the cutting force suddenly decreases, and the tool will leave scratches on the surface of the workpiece, which affects the accuracy requirements of the workpiece surface. When processing arcs, choose a reasonable feed rate to prevent crawling.

(6) In the process of programming, more functions such as subroutines, macro program calls, and mirroring should be used to make the designed feed route clearer and more regular, and also reduce the amount of programming.

Machine data

The start-up information involves the specifications of the tool holder, the maximum feed rate, the maximum speed, the stroke of the machine tool, the maximum load-bearing capacity, and the most important CNC system. Generally speaking, some edited programs only serve one of the systems, and other systems cannot or cause unnecessary troubles.

UG programming

UG is a powerful three-dimensional drawing software, mainly used for mold design, product design, programming and processing. Its specific functions include motion simulation, shape design, parametric design and non-parametric design. It can help users from large From the design and manufacture of small aircraft to screwdrivers, it provides complete modeling, processing and drawing and complete design capabilities, and realizes standardized modeling from 2D-3D-technical specifications.

VT simulation

All new post-processing needs to go through VT simulation. Without the code or post-processing of VT simulation, we can't control what problems will occur in the actual machining, so it can't be guaranteed for the machine tool. If it is functional, it is better to be careful. If there is no complete preparation for simulation, I suggest finding a professional to operate it.
